The fair ADDIT3D was undoubtedly the most demanding event in the 6 industrial exhibitions that the BEC (Bilbao Exhibition Center) hosted from 6 to 8 June. Addit3D, Ferroforma, Subcontratación, Fitmaq, Pumps & Valves and Maintenance fairs attracted a total of 19,200 professionals from 71 countries. The main countries of origin of the visitors have been Portugal, France, America, Italy and Germany. At the national level, 70% of professionals were from outside Bizkaia, a percentage that consolidates the sum of events related to industry as a national reference platform. Regarding their profile, these professionals have stood out for their qualitative level, the diversity of their fields of work and their decision-making capacity.
For three days, Addit3d has witnessed major innovations in the additive manufacturing sector. ADDIMAT, co-organizer of the event, and its partners played a prominent role in the fair, which was the event chosen by the Spanish Association of Additive Manufacturing Technologies and 3D printing to present the catalog of the sector.
The conferences on additive manufacturing that took place during the three days discussed the evolution of the sector and the strong growth forecasts for the coming years. Likewise, the main technological trends and case studies were presented in the great majority of sectors, demonstrating the transversality of these new technologies.
