On October 10, Tecnalia will host a workshop in which the participants will explore the possible challenges that additive manufacturing faces because of its spreading in sectors such as the automotive industry or medicine.
The workshop will feature various presentations by experts in additive manufacturing, education and innovation management, with the aim of understanding the possible impacts that this technology can have in various social fields.
Additive manufacturing is a key enabling technology in today's industrial processes, creating smarter supply chains, digital manufacturing flexibility and design freedom. All this innovation arising from additive manufacturing is attracting great attention, both from a technological and social point of view, including the challenges posed by additive manufacturing for the future of work or gender equality.
These and other aspects will be analysed on the workshop on October 10, which is open to all types of public, and will be carried out with a co-creation approach to gather the opinions and ideas of all attendees.
