Optimus 3D, a leading engineering and additive manufacturing firm, and MZ3D, a specialist in rapid prototyping through 3D printing, have announced a strategic partnership poised to mark a milestone in the sector. This agreement aims to strengthen Optimus 3D’s technical and commercial capabilities, consolidating its position as a leader in additive manufacturing in Spain.
Starting in January 2025, Optimus 3D will take over MZ3D’s client portfolio, workforce, and machinery. This integration will be carried out at Optimus 3D’s facilities in the Álava Technology Park, marking the definitive closure of MZ3D's operations in Bergara (Guipúzcoa) by the end of December 2024. This move not only ensures continuity of the services MZ3D has provided for over a decade but also opens new opportunities for growth and innovation in the industry.
Focus on Innovation and Customer Service
Through this alliance, Optimus 3D will enhance its operational capacity, leveraging MZ3D’s accumulated expertise and established references. This will enable the company to undertake larger-scale projects, optimize internal processes, and strengthen the quality of its services to meet the highest industry standards.
A spokesperson for Optimus 3D remarked that the agreement "reinforces our position as a benchmark in additive manufacturing and allows us to scale our offerings, consolidating an even stronger team prepared to tackle future challenges."
This strategic step positions Optimus 3D as a key player in the industrial engineering and 3D printing landscape, ensuring its ability to develop tailored and highly innovative solutions in a constantly evolving market.
