On June 28 was held in Bilbao an event organized by SPRI-Enpresa Digitala to present this European project and the prizes that will ward to their participants.
OPENMAKER aims to generate a local and international community to generate synergies among:
Manufacturers of any industrial sector who want to innovate in products, production processes, business models or structures and systems of governance
Makers and professionals with a new culture focused on invention, technological innovations and open innovation,
Other relevant agents who want to be part of this new collaboration ecosystem that emerged with great force in the USA.
To this extent, the so-called LES (Local Enabling Space) are being generated at four nodes in Europe - Italy, Spain (with the participation of Tecnalia), Slovakia and the United Kingdom. Tecnalia will manage the centre located in Bilbao, where training activities will be carried out, as well as supporting the maker community and to identify the needs of manufacturing companies.
This open event of June 28 was presented the goals of the project and the five prizes that will award Prototypes of Advanced Manufacturing that solve the real needs of manufacturing companies. At the same time, this event connected an engaged all members of the OPENMAKER community.
