NIPPON GASES TO SHOWCASE ITS LATEST SOLUTIONS FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING AT FORMNEXT 2024

24 October, 2024Nippon Gases will once again participate in Formnext 2024, one of the world's leading trade fairs in additive manufacturing, to be held in November in Frankfurt, Germany. The event will bring together a host of industry-leading companies looking to showcase their advances in 3D printing technologies and related industrial processes.

Located at stand C49 in hall 11, Nippon Gases will take advantage of this showcase to exhibit its extensive portfolio of industrial gases solutions, aimed at improving quality and efficiency in the production of parts using additive manufacturing technologies. It will also present its projects and new developments on which the company is currently working, consolidating its role in the advanced manufacturing sector.

Innovative gas solutions for additive manufacturing

Among the main solutions that Nippon Gases will showcase at Formnext 2024 is its portfolio of high purity gases under the Sanarc® brand, specifically designed to meet the needs of various additive manufacturing technologies, both direct printing and sintering. Attendees will be able to see examples of final parts produced with the use of these gases, which will allow them to see how they influence the quality of the final product.

Gas purification and recirculation technology

Another technology to be presented at the show is Nanochem®, a gas purification system that reduces moisture and oxygen to minimum levels, which is crucial to ensure the purity of gases used in advanced industrial processes. These purifiers are designed to optimise the use of gases in inertisation systems, an essential stage in certain additive manufacturing processes that require a controlled environment to avoid contamination.

In addition, Nippon Gases will showcase its gas recirculation technology, aimed at optimising gas consumption, resulting in reduced operating costs and reduced environmental impact.

Advanced process monitoring

A critical aspect in additive manufacturing is the monitoring of gases during the production process. Nippon Gases will present its MiruGas® system, an advanced tool that enables real-time monitoring of gas installations, ensuring optimal control of pressure and flow parameters. This helps to prevent production failures, improve operational efficiency and optimise processes where gases are used.

Pollution prevention in metal powders

Formnext 2024 will also be the venue for Nippon Gases to introduce the new version of its 3DPro® Powder DryCabinet, an enhanced solution for the storage of metal powders used in additive manufacturing. This system has been designed to keep materials in optimal conditions, minimising exposure to environmental impurities that could compromise the quality of the final product.

Participation in this exhibition underlines Nippon Gases' commitment to optimising advanced manufacturing processes through the use of industrial gases, ensuring more efficient and higher quality production.
