IMH, the campus of advanced and digital manufacturing, and the technological research and development center TECNALIA have created a focus of R&D and training to promote collaboration in new projects and enhance their capacity to support the industry, as well as train to new generations of professionals.
This agreement encompasses a catalog of equipment with more than 10 different additive manufacturing technologies, including equipment from device manufacturers present in the Basque Country: Addilan, Ibarmia, SamyLabs and Lynxter, as well as from international reference manufacturers Renishaw, ExOne, Desktop Metal and HP.
Additive manufacturing is currently considered one of the main vectors of transformation and competitiveness in European industry, and this agreement arises from the need detected in the nearby industrial environment, which demands these technologies and requires professionals trained in additive manufacturing processes.
