ADDIMAT PROMOTES SPAIN·S PRESENCE AT FORMNEXT 2024 WITH A GROUPED STAND

06 November, 2024

ADDIMAT will coordinate a grouped stand of a total of 84m² in hall 12.0, stand B121, at Formnext 2024, the world's largest additive manufacturing event to be held in Frankfurt from 19 to 22 November. Six Spanish companies will present their innovations in this space. In total, 30 companies associated to ADDIMAT will exhibit their advanced solutions at this edition, enhancing Spain's role in the global additive manufacturing sector. Formnext is a key meeting point for professionals and companies dedicated to additive manufacturing and 3D printing. Last year, the event hosted 859 exhibitors and attracted some 33,000 visitors from sectors such as automotive, aerospace, medical technology, construction and many more.

On this occasion, the grouped stand organised by ADDIMAT will be located in hall 12.0, and includes six companies, each providing expert knowledge and innovative solutions:

  • CEIT: Research centre linked to the University of Navarra specialising in metal additive manufacturing: development of materials, processes and post-processing.
  • CIM UPC: This technological research centre, affiliated to the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), will present its 3D printing technology #PowerDIW, which stands out for its extrusion capacity five times higher than traditional machines.
  • CRAMIK: has developed a polymeric blend capable of increasing the stability of materials loaded with ceramic/metallic particles. This material technology allows its use in high temperature, impact and abrasion industrial applications in the form of coatings or additive manufacturing in LDM and FDM.
  • HIPERBARIC: Renowned for its hot isostatic pressing (HIP) equipment, Hiperbaric offers solutions for the post-processing and consolidation of 3D printed metal components.
  • REINFORCE 3D: This company specialises in CFIP technology, post-processing aimed at improving the mechanical performance and lightness of 3D printed parts, which expands the possibilities for the use of these parts in industrial applications.
  • ROVALMA: leader in advanced materials for forming processes, such as casting and stamping, offering solutions that improve productivity and durability. Rovalma has developed a metal 3D printing technology that allows printing large parts up to 600x700x2200 mm.

With the presence of these companies, ADDIMAT reinforces its commitment to the promotion of additive manufacturing in Spain and its international projection. The group participation in Formnext not only promotes the visibility of the innovations developed in Spain, but also strengthens the international connections necessary for the growth of the sector.

Furthermore, ADDIMAT and BEC are organising the next edition of ADDITD, Spain's leading trade fair for additive and 3D manufacturing, from 3 to 5 June 2025, to be held as part of +INDUSTRY at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC).
