On the 8th of October, ADDIMAT, the Spanish Association of Additive Manufacturing and 3D Technologies, will be present at the prestigious Women in AM Summit, which will be held within the framework of the MGA Annual Meeting in Berlin. This event, which seeks to highlight the work and participation of women in the field of additive manufacturing (AM), offers a platform for sharing experiences and knowledge about the future of this technology.
Naiara Zubizarreta, director of ADDIMAT, will represent the association at the round table ‘AM conquers Europe’. In this panel, Zubizarreta will be accompanied by leading professionals in the sector such as Ana Tomas (Berlin Partner), Katarina Kovács (TechTra) and Alya Akatayeva (Satbayev University of Kazakhstan). The debate will focus on the growth of additive manufacturing in Europe and the crucial role of innovation in consolidating the technology on the continent.
The Women in AM Summit has been designed specifically for female additive manufacturing professionals. It aims to create an environment where industry experts can exchange ideas, strengthen networks and explore opportunities for collaboration. In addition to panel discussions and conferences, participants will have access to one-on-one coaching sessions and networking activities, designed to foster both professional and personal development in a collaborative and mutually supportive environment.
The event is part of the MGA Annual Meeting, an annual gathering of more than 140 members of the international MGA (Mobility Goes Additive) network, which is recognised as one of the leading global platforms for industrial additive manufacturing. The MGA network brings together a diversity of stakeholders, including end users, research and development institutes, machine and material manufacturers, AM service providers, and software developers.
