ADDIMAT PARTICIPATES IN THE TALENT, ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INDUSTRY FORUM, PROMOTING INNOVATION IN ADVANCED MANUFACTURING.

The Talent, Entrepreneurship and Industry Forum took place today, an event organised by AFM Cluster and IMH Campus, in which ADDIMAT played an important role. This meeting brought together professionals, students and experts in advanced technologies to discuss talent and innovation in industry.

The day began with a welcome by Jon Núñez Barrenechea, technology specialist at AFM Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, who highlighted the importance of connecting emerging talent with the industrial sector. On behalf of the IMH Campus, Edurne Iturbe Zabalo, director of the master's degree in Digital Manufacturing, and Roberto Altzerreka Etxeberria, head of entrepreneurship, presented the educational and technological initiatives led by the institution.

Recognition of industrial entrepreneurship

One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the Award for the Best Industrial Entrepreneurship Project IMH Campus 2023/2024, presented by Ion Zubiaurre Ros, Deputy Mayor of Elgoibar. The award went to the FIRE EVO COMPANY team, made up of students Xuepeng Hu, Xabier Toribio and Qiming Wang. Their project, which proposes an electromagnetic heating head for FDM 3D printing technology, has been valued for its innovative approach and its potential impact on the industry.

Round table on advanced technologies

The forum concluded with an enriching round table focused on robotics and additive manufacturing, with the participation of leading experts:

  • Naiara Zubizarreta, Director of ADDIMAT and STECH.
  • Jaime Herrero, former IMH Campus student and head of 3D materials and technologies at MAUSA.
  • Loreto Alcibar, former IMH Campus student and design engineer at Addimen.
  • Xabier Cearsolo, head of the Additive Manufacturing Area at IMH Campus.

During the discussion, the speakers shared their perspectives on technological advances and their relevance in the digital transformation of industry.

The Talent, Entrepreneurship and Industry Forum has proven to be a key space for the exchange of knowledge and the promotion of collaboration between academia and industry.
