AZTERLAN is a technology center member of the BRTA. It is specialized in metallic materials and their transformation technologies, including powder metallurgy and additive technologies. Its R&D&I activity is aimed at developing metallic components with advanced properties and optimizing their design and manufacturing processes.
AZTERLAN owns ultrasonic metal powder atomization capacities that, together with metal fusion and treatment facilities, allow to develop ad-hoc powder alloys, adjusted for each additive manufacturing process. AZTERLAN also has 3D printing capabilities for manufacturing foundry molds and sand cores, which reinforce its high expertise in this manufacturing technology. These assets are complemented by avant-garde laboratories and equipment dedicated to the testing and characterization of all types of metallic materials and components.
